The school needs to implement stricter hiring standards for assistant managers and student staff, as current employees are exhibiting rude and unprofessional behavior. Mandatory training on conduct and ethics is highly necessary.

Some staff members and manager seem more focused on policing students than helping them. They can be overly strict, and minor mistakes are often treated like major violations. Even if someone makes a mistake, they don’t deserve to be spoken to or treated that way. A little more professionalism and courtesy would go a long way. Sometimes it feels like they forget they are interacting with fellow Boston University students.

The facility is great, but some front desk staff and managers are surprisingly rude and unprofessional. Simple mistakes are often treated as if you’ve done something seriously wrong. Their attitude does not reflect the welcoming environment you would expect.

Fitness and Recreation Centre is part of John Hancock Students Village, which also includes Agganis Arena ( named after BU top football/ baseball player). The centre is equipped with free weights and various physical exercise/ work-out machines, including tread- mills. Good facilities and novel rooms for individuals and groups. However, capacity is limited and leads to increased waiting time during peak hours. BU should keep the charges subsidised to encourage students for fitness. In the village context, high-rise towers for students' residence are appreciated...
